I’ve decided the most important thing that needs to be concentrated on in 2017 is Consistency. Not only by me, but a few people out there who I’ve paid attention to in the past but no longer will going forward. Inconsistency causes confusion, frustration, and in the end anger.
I’ve had way too much anger over the last few years, and honestly people, that’s got to change. It’s making me sick. On a larger scale, all the people out there just as angry as me are not making things better for the world at large.
So maybe anger needs to be out in 2017 too.
Anger has had it’s place, don’t get me wrong. People needed to get very angry before the road to complete slavery could be stopped.
2016 was the year of the shitlord, and Donald Trump was the master. He galvanized the angry masses and helped give us courage to say what’s on our minds.
Lets hope in 2017 we will see the fruits of our anger and frustration. I at least hope that personal responsibility, heterosexuality, traditional families, and true racial and gender equality returns.
Anger may have played a role in setting things right in 2016, but inconsistency didn’t. Case in point, Mike Cernovich.
He used to just be an average run of the mill PUA/manospherian. Once the whole PUA industry and the manosphere started going in the toilet where it now deservedly sits, Cernovich started testing the waters in the reactionary pond, then White nationalism and the alt right.
Hell, remember when he glommed onto the Gamergate controversy?
Mike Cernovich will shamelessly attach himself to any person or any cause if it might maintain his relevancy.
He wanted everyone to believe he was on board with nationalism, and even the anti White Genocide agenda. He started saying the words, very important words, that needed to be said in order for people to take seriously the issue of marginalization of White people all over the globe.
I’m not going to go back and get all the tweets of him noticeably weaseling his way into movements he cared nothing about, but this was notable:
We really wanted to believe that someone as high profile as him was taking on the cause. Finally at long last, we thought, honest talk about race is happening. Even as recent as June of this year Mike still seemed to be authentically concerned about the rights of Whites. Take a look at this Tweet from this past June. Click it on to view the Google web cache of it:
We were all energized and proud that Mike was finally having the courage to tell it like it is. He was naming them. We all felt confident that he really meant what he said.
But hold up there folks, this past November in a Tweet that many of us probably missed, he said this:
When it seemed like the alt-right was falling out of fashion in the mainstream media and public; and apparently Mike Cernovich is part of the mainstream media (fake news etc.); and once the alt-right had served his purpose; he decided he could stop with all the entryism and go rogue.
This was all revealed through the drama that went down recently between him and some other eCeleb on Twitter who goes by the name of Baked Alaska. Apparently there was some kind of gathering being organized; a prom or something for other self appointed entryists, called the Deploraball.
Baked Alaska was supposed to be a big part of this prom. His big mistake was continuing calling out Jewish control of, well, everything, which is exactly what Mike Cernovich has done in the past.
After Richard Spencer was dumped from the alt-right for accusations of Nazi salutes and other bullshit that didn’t even happen, or that he had no part of, certain high profile members of the alt-right abandoned him and branded him and his crowd crazy Nazis. I’m assuming it was at this point that Mike decided to take his brand elsewhere.
So I guess when he was asking the JQ, it wasn’t bullshit, but now since his brand may be effected due to negative backlash towards the alt-right, he’s all the sudden denouncing what he’s said in the past? It looks like Mike is the one fucking people over now.
Talk about entryism. Mike Cernovich has always gone rogue. It’s clear now that he stands for nothing aside from himself and his “brand” whatever that brand really is. It seems like he’s still trying to decide who or what he is.
His inconsistency proved to all of us that he doesn’t mean most of the shit he says. All of his talk about race and whatnot was merely another way to maintain his own popularity.
Inconsistency in a person shines light on their in-authenticity.
He made a big mistake. Let’s hope he never makes another one like it again.
No one is asking him or anyone else to hate all Jews, or to hate all blacks, or women or gays. I don’t, and I don’t want others to either. It’s wrong to lump everyone from one race, gender, or sexuality into one group. This is the only place where inconsistency plays an important role. Not all people from one group are consistently like all the others in that group.
What we still need though are people who are able to have complicated conversations about race and gender without bugging out right when the truth has nearly reached the psyche of all peoples. We need people who are able to say the words with elegance, without fear, without falling into the crazy trap.
The kind of consistency I’m seeking in myself and others is the kind that lets people know they’ve got someone who they can believe in. I know who I believe in, and Mike Cernovich is not one of those people.
Happy New Year everyone! Let’s hope 2017 will be the year where people aren’t forced to be consistent; but instead choose to be on their own as a matter of principle. It’s my resolution. What’s yours?
